The Strange Case of Matthew Chisling and Mr. Hyde

Josh Strickland first gained mass appeal when he swung around a stage in a teeny loincloth for a whole bunch of months. I’m referring to his leading stint in the New York production of Disney’s Tarzan on Broadway of course. However Strickland’s time on the show ended and he sought out a new musical path. “Report to the Floor” is his first pop recording, though it’s much more of an aggressive club hook than anything. His vocals reach insane heights on this bombastic track, and at the end of the day it truly is his voice that makes the song. Not to take away from one of the dirtiest synth sets I’ve heard in a while (in the best way), but Strickland’s voice is just so bloody massive. This song is geared for the biggest baddest clubs out there, but is just as fun to shout in the shower. Listen to it at the link above!
